WE ARE REALLY PROUD OF OUR G‑Loft®! THIS PROPRIETARY POLYESTER-FILL FIBRE-FLEECE IS PRODUCED­ IN AUSTRIA (WE DO NOT SHIP IT FROM ASIA HALFWAY AROUND THE WORLD). CONSEQUENTLY QUALITY­ CONTROL IS IN OUR OWN HANDS. G‑Loft® OFFERS TANGIBLE ADVANTAGES OVER MANY OTHER FILL ­MATERIALS.

  1. Extremely good loft: The above average fill power of G‑Loft® is made possible by the spiral formed crimping and a special siliconisation which reduces friction between the fibres.
  2. Durability: The crimping takes place during spinning of the fibres and is permanent because we only use bi-componential hollow fibres for G‑Loft®: They consist of 2 polyester components of different molecular structure, which results in a permanent “curling” – like a coil spring.
  3. Small pack size: G‑Loft® in its expanded form traps large amounts of air, which can escape during packing. Result: a manageably small pack size.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
There is still no synthetic fibre which can match the warmth to weight ratio of a good down. But G‑Loft® comes close. Moreover it has the advantage of being insensitive to moisture. So our advice: in areas with high humidity, or if you know you cannot dry the bag every day while travelling, the G‑Loft® bag is for you.
